Cedar Park is a fast growing community of about 52,000 just northwest of Austin, Texas in both Travis and Williamson Counties. Family Circle Magazine voted Cedar Park as one of the Top 10 Cities To Raise A Family in 2007. The Texas Department of Public Safety ranks Cedar Park as having the second lowest crime rate for any Texas city with over 50,000 people.

Cedar Park shopping centers such as Cedar Park’s largest retail center 1890 Ranch (located at 1431 and the 183A Toll Road) feature great stores, restaurants and services such as Target, Starbucks, Gold’s Gym, Academy and others. For nature lovers there are great parks and even caves. A new water park was just built at the Veteran's Park. The HEB Center was originally called the Cedar Park Center as pictured above. Located at 183A and New Hope Drive opened September 25, 2009 with George Strait in concert. With 6,800 seats for the Texas Stars Hockey Club hockey and 8,700 for concerts or other events, this multi-use facility on 17 acres has retail and commercial mixed use development around it. Cedar Park shopping has a great deal to offer. There is a Farmer's Market at Lakeline Mall on Saturday mornings from 9:00am to 1:00pm by Sears and Dillard's. Cedar Park Schools and Medical Care
Cedar Park children attend Leander ISD schools (or private schools of course). Great schools and wonderful new state of the art medical care at the new Cedar Park Regional Medical Center make Cedar Park a great place to live. Cedar Park 360 offers some good resources. The Cedar Park Citizen is a local newspaper delivered free to residents weekly.
