Betty Saenz' Kyle Family History
I have family history in Kyle. In the 1890's, Otto Pieper and his wife, Ottilie Specht Pieper and their children lived in Kyle, Texas. Per the book Zur Erinnerung! by Bunnie Louise Brooks, Otto Pieper had a two story store in downtown Kyle, Texas on Front Street which was an ice cream parlor. The family is buried in the Kyle Cemetary on County Road 136.
