Lago Vista is a waterfront community located on a peninsula on the North side of beautiful Lake Travis, hence called the "Northlake" area. Nearby is the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge for bird watching, or just exploring nature. The endangered birds, the Black-capped Vireo and the Golden-cheek Warbler can be seen at the refuge.

To get to Lago Vista take 183 Research north to 1431 in Cedar Park. Turn left on 1431 and drive a few miles through the gently rolling hills passing Jonestown along the way.
