I just love the Texas Hill Country with its scenic vistas overlooking blue hills where you can see for miles and miles. I have always loved the clear creeks and rivers, wildflowers, cattle. My family has been here since the 1800's - Texas Pioneers and Citizens of the Republic of Texas. Some of my favorite places I have visited all my life are Blue Hole in Wimberley TX, the Devil's Backbone area, Enchanted Rock, Austin TX, Canyon Lake and New Braunfels TX. Austin, Bertram, Blanco, Burnet, Driftwood, Dripping Springs, Georgetown, Jonestown, Lago Vista, Leander, Lakeway, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Spicewood, Westlake are all in the Texas Hill Country Region, west of IH 35. I love to go swimming, kayaking, canoeing and tubing on Texas Hill Country rivers, lakes and creeks. Easter photos in the Texas Wildflowers are an annual event. Snow is so rare, we celebrate it here!
