Blockhouse Creek is a wonderful subdivision with over 100 acres of greenspace located between the new 183A and old Hwy. 183 in Williamson County,Texas. The Blockhouse Creek neighborhood has lots of ammenities and history. There are schools and child care within the community of Blockhouse Creek. In the Spring of 2009 a new entrance & exit to 183A was completed on the east side of Blockhouse Creek. The new Cedar Park Event Center is just south of Blockhouse Creek on the new 183A. Block House Creek Neighborhood Ammenities
Among the ammenities available to Block House Creek residents are many neighborhood parks and pools. These include pavillions, disc golf, BMX bike trail, baseball field, a sand volleyball court and trails to walk. Apache Park has a children's playstructure area with a slide, and other fun things. Apache Park has a swimming pool that is great for swimming laps. Comanche Park is a smaller 4 acre park with a walking trail. Jumano Park is a great place for a hike. Tonkawa Park's space is great for soccer or football. Tumlinson Park is the nicest of the Block House parks with a creek, tennis & basketball courts, baseball field, skate park, the largest swimming pool and largest children's park in Block House.
