Anderson Mill West is an affordable, established neighborhood in Cedar Park, Texas, Williamson County. Located west of RR 620 off El Salido, Anderson Mill West is one of my favorite neighborhoods. I have lived there myself on Buckeye Trail and loved it. My son could walk to Exemplary Cypress Elementary School. I volunteered by doing some early childhood Spanish classes at that school too. Anderson Mill West is so close to Austin, yet in Leander ISD school district so many people want to be in. There are a lot of mature trees for shade in our sometimes brutal days of Summer. Shopping for just about anything is so close by. Lakeline Mall, the new 1890 Ranch & the recently built HEB at 620 and Anderson Mill. The Anderson Mill West Neighborhood Association (AMWNA or Anderson Mill West HOA ) is very active. Their meetings are held at the 1000 Old Mill facility the last Tuesday of each month. The MUD is Williamson Travis Counties Municipal Utilities District #1.
Anderson Mill – Mill – old namesake of Anderson Mill West
Located at 13974 FM 2769, the Anderson Mill Museum is a beautiful historical site names after Thomas Anderson. The old Anderson Mill was built in the 1860’s and was originally used to produce gunpowder during the Civil War, later it was used as a gristmill. In the April Springtime the grounds are covered in bluebonnets. This Anderson Mill Museum and Grist Mill historic site is open the 4th Sunday of each month from 2 to 5pm from March through October.

As of July 2009, home prices start at just over $130,000. and go up to almost $400,000. for homes in Anderson Mill West Sec. 19 off Volente Road (2769) in Volente Hills, the newest & most upscale section.
